The BOSESILAB CO2 incubator is designed to simulate a cell / tissue-like environment inside an organism, a device that requires a stable temperature (37 °C) , a stable CO2 level (5%) , a constant pH value (7.2-7.4) , and a high relative saturation humidity (95%) to culture cells / Tissues in vitro, is A cell, tissue, bacterial culture of an advanced instrument, is the development of immunology, oncology, genetics and biological engineering key equipment.
Application of CO2 incubators:
Widely used in microbiology, medicine, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, food, animal husbandry and other scientific fields of research and production. It is commonly found in the fields of cell kinetics, collection of secretion of Mammalian cells, carcinogenic or toxicological effects of various physical and chemical factors, research and production of antigens, production of antibodies by Hybridoma Cells, (IVF) , stem cells, tissue engineering, drug screening and so on.
How the CO2 incubator works:
The CO2 sensor is used to detect the CO2 concentration in the box, and pass the detection result to the control circuit and the solenoid valve. If the CO2 concentration in the box is low, the solenoid valve opens and the CO2 enters the box until the CO2 concentration reaches the set concentration, at this point the solenoid valve closed, the box of CO2 cut off, to achieve a stable state. The CO2 sampler takes the mixture of CO2 and air into the sampling port of the outer panel of the machine. The CO2 concentration detector is used at any time to check whether the CO2 concentration is up to the requirement. Microprocessor control system and other functional accessories such as high and low temperature automatic regulation and alarm device, CO2 alarm device, password protection settings, etc. , can maintain the incubator temperature, humidity and CO2 concentration stability. According to the heating system of CO2 incubator, the CO2 incubator can be divided into water-jacketed CO2 incubator and air-jacketed CO2 incubator. Both kinds of heating systems are stable and reliable, but they have their own advantages and disadvantages. Water-jacketed and air-jacketed CO2 incubators can be distinguished by the presence or absence of an inlet and a drain. The temperature of the water-jacketed CO2 incubator is kept constant by an independent water-jacketed layer surrounding the inner chamber. The water in the water jacket is heated by an electric heating wire, and the temperature change is detected by a temperature sensor inside the chamber, keep the temperature in the box constant at the set temperature. Because of the high specific heat capacity of the water, the water jacket has the advantages of helping to dissipate heat evenly and avoiding the formation of cold zones, as well as slowing down the temperature drop in the incubator after power failure. Water Jacket is surrounded by water, so the temperature uniformity is very good. The gas-jacketed CO2 incubator is heated directly to the inner chamber through the heaters in the gas-jacketed layer, which is also called six-side direct heating. Compared with the water-jacketed type, the air-jacketed type has the characteristics of rapid heating and rapid temperature recovery, which is especially beneficial to the short-term culture and the culture of frequent opening and closing of the box door. The temperature in the box is usually set at about 37 °C. In addition, the air jacket design is simpler than the water jacket design, without the need to add water, empty and clean.
